Rocks 5.4 발표 일정

현재 다운로드 가능한 버전은 5.3 Tacos 입니다.
Rocks 5.3 (Rolled Tacos) for Linux

Rocks 홈페이지에 방문하면 오른쪽 하단에 Google Calendar 가 있습니다.
여기에 보면 9월 14일 쯤에 5.4 버전이 출시된다는 군요..

Rocks-A-Palooza 에 가보면,, 5.4에 추가되는 기능이 나옵니다.

NIC Bonding 기능이 눈에 띠네요..

    Google Calendar 를 확인해 보니 발표 일정이 조금 늦춰졌네요.
    10월 21일(목) 5.4 Final 버전이 발표될 것으로 보입니다.
    조금 더 기다려야겠네요.

    버그가 발견되어서 또다시 1주일 연기되었습니다. 최종 발표일은 10월 29일(금)입니다.

    we're going to push the release back one week.

    we've discovered an issue with greceptor. greceptor is the program that accepts 411 alerts and then pulls files from the frontend to the compute nodes (e.g., /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, etc.).

    mason has completed the greceptor replacement and we want to get some testing in before we release 5.4.

    5.4 Final 발표 일정이 또다시 연기 됐네요. 이번 목표는 11월 4일입니다.

    no, the release is delayed.

    we are fighting a kernel panic issue in the installation kernel that
    occurs on a small subset of our nodes in the lab.

    we are busy coming up with a solution that will allow users to select
    either the latest kernel or an older reliable kernel for their node
    installs.

    the release will be delayed again by about a week.

    we apologize, but we want to do our best to deliver a solid solution.

    마침내 11월9일 날짜로 Rocks 5.4 버전이 Release 되었습니다
    홈페이지에서 다운로드할 수 있습니다
